WORLD NO. 1 JANNIK SINNER AND PANINI INK EXCLUSIVE DEAL

Modena, Italy (June 10, 2024) -- Panini and Jannik Sinner are proud to announce an exclusive multi-year agreement covering collectible trading cards, autographed memorabilia and game gear, books and magazines, as well as digital collections featuring Sinner, the first Italian tennis player to be No. 1 in the ATP world rankings.

The Modena-based publishing house already understood the potential of Sinner as a vehicle of positive values when the relationship between Panini and the world No. 1 began in 2022 with the release of Piccoli grandi campioni - Manuale illustrato del tennis di Jannik Sinner (Young Great Champions - Jannik Sinner's Illustrated Tennis Manual) published by Panini Comics. In the book, Sinner offers an introduction to tennis with valuable technical advice and entertaining anecdotes from his early career.

Another milestone was achieved when Topolino, also published by Panini Comics, featured a "duckified" version of Sinner on the cover of issue No. 3572 in early-May of 2024. The magazine included a comic starring "Quacknik Spinner," the duckified Italian tennis player.

Today, the collaboration is enriched by a shared affinity and common goals focused on building special connections with fans through simple yet rich traditions.  Panini will create and release collections aimed at both young fans and passionate collectors, offering exclusive images and content of Sinner, a homegrown South Tyrolean champion.

“I'm really happy with this partnership with Panini,” said Sinner. “As a child I collected stickers and read Panini comics and magazines. Now, I become the subject of Panini products and this makes me happy, because it gives me the opportunity to present myself to my fans in a different way.”

The publishing plan begins with the release of an exclusive Panini Instant card to celebrate Sinner reaching the top of the world rankings that will be made available through the Panini America platform  https://www.paniniamerica.net/panini-instant/panini-instant-tennis.html

Subsequently, Panini will launch a series of trading card collections entirely dedicated to Sinner, containing memorabilia and limited-edition cards that will be available worldwide through the company’s online e-commerce network and at dedicated stores.

This is just the beginning of an extensive release plan of initiatives for 2024 and throughout the multi-year partnership.
